Description
Although this early, rare Diller print has recognizable imagery, it already prefigures the artist's slightly later style of geometric abstraction. By 1932, Diller had already arrived at a semi-abstract style in which he had begun to eliminate detail, retaining only the outline of the figures and their setting.- Mitchell Soporin, Chicago, IL; Noah Hoffman (nephew of above)
