Planning a Visit
We have reached maximum capacity for Art to Go presentations in April and May 2017. We look forward to working with you to bring Art to Go to your students next year!
Please complete the required online registration form, providing all requested information. Two weeks advance notice for your presentation date is mandatory. An email acknowledgement will be sent to you within 5 to 7 business days.
Presentations range from 40 to 60 minutes, depending on your class period, and are available Monday through Thursday between 9:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Lessons are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Evening presentations are available on Wednesdays.
Preschool presentations are available on Fridays.
To help your class prepare for Art to Go, teacher information packets can be downloaded anytime from our website.
Presentations are designed to accommodate a maximum of 25 participants to ensure there is adequate time to handle and pass the objects within a given class period, and to provide for the safe handling of these genuine works of art.
The following arrangements are required:
- Groups of more than 25 participants must be divided into two separate presentations.
- The group leader, organizer, or teacher MUST be present during the presentation
- Please set up the room to accommodate this unique opportunity. Arrange participants in chairs, at desks, or on the floor in a horseshoe shape.
- A table MUST be provided to support the artwork while it is not being passed.
Please note that if our presenters feel that a situation has arisen that will endanger the participants or the works of art we reserve the right to terminate the presentation early without refunding the presentation fee.
An evaluation form is provided at the end of each presentation. Responses help to improve the lessons and the program. Please take the time to complete the form and return this form. Also, consider having students write letters to let us know what they learned from the presentation.
