Juno Award Winner Marc-André Hamelin, who made a sensational splash with his Cleveland Orchestra appearances in 2015, returns for his signature solo recital program in Gartner Auditorium at the Cleveland Museum of Art. Mr. Hamelin will perform works by Chopin, Haydn, Feinberg, Beethoven, and Scriabin.
The concert will be preceded by CIPC Twilight, an exclusive, pre-concert dinner experience featuring a presentation on art created during the time of Beethoven. Reservations and additional ticket required. Dinner and the presentation will be held in the private dining room of the Cleveland Museum of Art.
“Hamelin is known as a titanic interpreter of late Romantic and 20th-century showstoppers, but the beauty of his Mozart and Haydn shows the extraordinary versatility of his talents: supple, sensitive phrasing, dreamy legato and, always, that golden sound.
