Brite Winter

Saturday, February 15, 2014, 4:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.
Ohio City, Bridge Ave. & W. 26 St.

CMA is a presenting sponsor of Brite Winter, Cleveland's outdoor winter art and music festival, celebrating its 5th year. See storefront light installations by Community Arts artists Oliver App (The Wine Bar), Robin Heinrich (outdoor stage at Town Hall), Meagan Krapf (Monkey Bar entrance) and Wendy Mahon (Joy Machine). Additionally, view illuminated window treatments by Story Rhinehart and Lizzie Roche throughout the Brite Winter footprint. Community Arts leads the creation of the Great Wall of Lights, the 60 foot long by 10 foot high wall of lights which zigzags down Market Alley. Festival attendees are invited to contribute a lamp of their choice, many created using the Community Arts kickstarter manual. Ongoing street performances from 6 to 10 p.m. by Community Arts performers of the Houses on Stilts link the various staging areas of the festival. Cleveland celebrates winter at the Brite Winter Festival with art, music, games, and more from 4 to 11 p.m.
