Creativity, Innovation, Imagination: Interim Director Fred Bidwell Discusses the Future of CMA
Just two weeks from today, the Cleveland Museum of Art's renovation and expansion project will come to a completion on December 31. In honor of this historic moment, the museum will host a variety of public programs and activities to celebrate the conclusion of its eight-year renovation and expansion project and the opening of the new west wing galleries featuring its world-renowned collection of Chinese and Southeast Asian art. Leading up to this monumental point in the museum's history, we sat down with Interim Director Fred Bidwell to talk about the building expansion and grand opening, his new role and top priorities for the future, and the impact of the Cleveland Museum of Art on the community.
