A vertically oriented black-and-white photograph crops closely around the circular keys of a typewriter. The machine parts appear as repeating geometric shapes: pale disks held by curved, dark metal arms that recede in diagonal rows. Bright highlights catch the polished metal rims, while the background and undersides are darkened with shadows. Characters including letters K and L, the fraction 3/4, and a SHIFT KEY create a sharp, rhythmic pattern.
