A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts two figures against a rippled ground. The one on our left is a man in a tiered hat and cape, stepping toward our right. On our right stands a taller woman swathed in thick bandages and billowing fabric, her long, curly hair trailing. In the upper left, a helmeted head floats within dense, swirling clouds. Heavy hatching and deep shadows define the composition.
