Did You Know?

Jean is the matriarch of the Sabatine family, who are the artist’s neighbors in rural Pennsylvania.

Description

One of the most lyrical moments in Social Graces, this scene centers on a cake that is a little lopsided, but obviously made with love. Shot outdoors, the figures are kissed by a gentle natural light. The young girl becomes a conduit for our memories of the magic of celebrations and the anticipation of sugary delights.
