A horizontally oriented black-and-white photograph depicts an undulating landscape of granular earth. In the lower two-thirds, two pebbled slopes converge to form a V-shaped valley, centered by a small, pale stone. In the upper third, a dark mound rises with distinct horizontal bands and deep shadows. Fine, stippled textures define the terrain throughout. In the bottom right corner of the white border, a cursive pencil signature is visible.
