A horizontally oriented color lithograph depicts a stone temple in a sandy desert landscape. In the lower foreground, people with medium skin tones stand and sit on hills. To our right, a massive gateway with relief carvings towers over the ruins. To our left, a columned building recedes toward a dark horizon and hazy mountains. Text at the bottom reads, "TEMPLE OF EDFOU. ANCIENT APPOLINOPOLIS. UPPER EGYPT."
