A hanging scroll depicts a woman with light skin tone standing in a tall, narrow composition. She faces our right, looking down into a small mirror held in both hands. She wears a muted yellow and cream kimono patterned with cherry blossoms and bundled reeds, her black hair pinned upward. Fine lines outline her form against a plain background. Japanese calligraphy is arranged vertically in the lower right corner.
