One side of a gold coin features an inscription circling an image (see "Inscriptions" field). An enthroned, stylized man with a beard and cross-marked halo wears draped robes and sits on a high-backed, patterned throne. He raises his right hand and holds a rectangular book in his left. The warm, yellow metal is slightly irregular in shape with visible surface wear.
