A silver-plated tureen cover features a wide, horizontal form with lobed edges and a central dome marked by vertical ridges. An arched handle at the top is decorated with five-petaled flowers and leaf forms at its base. The polished surface curves downward toward a waved, undulating outer rim. Silver is plated onto copper, creating a bright luster across the vessel's reflective, metallic surface.
