Description

This coffee pot is decorated with a plaque that depicts the ancient myth of the Birth of Venus.
A white porcelain coffee pot features a cylindrical body, a flat top with a circular opening, and an arched handle opposite a curved spout. A raised oval medallion on the body depicts Venus standing with arms raised, supported by a Triton with a coiled tail. Two birds in flight flank the goddess. The vessel has a smooth, polished surface, and the decorative relief is finished in a uniform white.
