A paper knife features a long, flat gold blade engraved with swirling scrollwork and a central emblem. The handle is composed of vertical sections of banded green malachite and smooth red stone. Polished gold caps the ends: the upper part is pierced with delicate leaf motifs, while the bottom is rounded and chased with floral patterns. The gold glows brightly against the contrasting vibrant colors of the stones.
