Did You Know?

This cup and saucer were made during the Belle Epoque or "Beautiful Era" in France.
An enamel cup features a deep reddish-brown body embellished with silver and gold motifs. A central face with pointed ears and a leaf-like beard is flanked by white floral scrolls, while an ornate silver handle to our right depicts a winged child figure amidst scrolls. Silver bands trim the rim and circular base. Delicate gold lines encircle the body, and fine wheat-like patterns appear above the face, completing the intricate decoration.
