A circular, domed porcelain lid features a gold-painted rim and a central, pointed gold knob showing surface wear. A small steam hole sits near the knob. Two painted landscape scenes decorate the white surface: to our left, a figure in brown and white stands among green trees; to our right, a figure in a red gown sits on a dark bank against blue and green foliage.
