Description

These six martial figures are Field Marshals in the Daoist pantheon. In the lower row from left to right are Field Marshals Pan 潘元帥, Yin Jiao 殷郊, Kang Xi 康席, and Shi Shenyu石神毓. Wang E 王惡, and Liu 劉元帥, whose label has been damaged, are in the upper row.
A square drawing in black ink depicts six celestial figures in armor and flowing robes dispersed across mottled tan paper. Amidst wispy clouds, the figures carry weapons including a long-handled axe, swords, and a staff. Fine line work defines their layered garments and swirling sashes. Small vertical columns of characters accompany each figure. A red circular seal marks the bottom right corner, alongside faint creases and stains throughout.
