A hanging scroll depicts thick, black-inked bamboo stalks emerging from a textured, rough-edged rock on the left against a beige background. Clusters of dark, pointed leaves flare out from the joints, layering over lighter gray ones. To the right, a thinner stalk branches upward toward a pale, circular moon in the upper right. Varied ink tones define the organic rock and the narrow leaves splaying across the vertical composition.
