A gold coin with an irregular, cup-shaped form features Constantine X standing and facing forward. He wears a crown with hanging pendants and a long, patterned robe. To our left, he holds a cross-topped staff; to our right, an orb with a cross. Faintly raised characters curve along the rim of the warm, lustrous gold surface.
