An off-white ivory sculpture depicts a standing man facing us. He holds a fish against his hip on our right, his opposite arm raised with a closed fist. He wears a knee-length robe incised with overlapping waves and tied with a sash. His eyes are narrowed and his mouth curves into a smile. The figure's bare feet stand on a flat base, and the material displays a subtle, aged grain.
