A vertically oriented sepia photogravure depicts a Cree girl with medium-light skin tone. Dressed in a thick, textured fur robe, she turns toward our right while looking back over her shoulder toward us with her lips closed. Her straight, dark hair is parted in the middle. To our right, soft-focused evergreen branches overlap her. Text at the bottom reads "A CREE GIRL," and the top left corner is labeled "Plate 622."
