A vertically oriented photogravure in sepia tones depicts a Zuñi girl from the waist up, facing forward and looking at us. Her dark hair is parted in the middle and cut in a blunt bob. She wears a dark shawl with light horizontal stripes over her shoulders. Numerous beaded necklaces, featuring circular discs and crescent pendants, cover her chest. Her hands are held together in front, adorned with rings and metal bracelets.
