A vertically oriented hanging scroll with ink on tan paper depicts a goose on a rounded rock. Facing left, the bird stretches its neck upward with its beak open, feathers rendered in mottled gray and black ink. Spindly reeds arch from the right over the goose. A small rock sits in water at the bottom left, with a red square seal featured in the lower right against the horizontally creased background.
