A vertically oriented drypoint in black ink on off-white paper depicts Edwin Edwards, a man with a light skin tone, full beard, and thin-rimmed glasses. Shaded with dense, vertical lines, his head tilts right with downcast eyes. Loose, sketchy lines suggest his torso against a dark background that forms a chair back to our right. The signature, A. Legros, is at the bottom left.
