A horizontally oriented, rectangular woodblock is deeply carved with geometric patterns to form an abstract architectural scene. Raised vertical and diagonal lines suggest clustered buildings and peaked roofs across the surface. Toward the lower left, a small structure with a gabled roof is visible. The blackened surface features rough, gouged textures that reveal warmer brown tones and wood grain beneath the many faceted, ridged shapes.
