A horizontal rectangular woodblock features mirrored letters and angular lines carved deeply into its dark brown surface. Three irregular rows of fragmented characters fill the face. Recessed areas reveal a lighter tan color where the wood has been chiseled away. The entire surface is textured with numerous vertical and horizontal gouge marks, creating a complex pattern of raised planes and sunken, striated channels across the block.
