A vertically oriented lithograph on cream paper is dominated by a densely textured black rectangle. The mottled dark field is slashed by irregular white marks and a jagged line at the top right. Pale horizontal and diagonal bands cross the grainy surface. Below the feathered edges, handwritten script sits in the wide lower margin.
