One side of a gold coin features defined lines and a circling inscription. Queen Victoria is shown in left profile, her hair in fine waves and a bun secured by two decorated bands. Raised Latin text, "VICTORIA D: G: BRITANNIARUM REGINA F: D:", follows the decorative, scalloped border. A small signature, "W. WYON R.A.", is at the base of the neck against a finely textured, reflective surface with high-relief details.
