One side of a gold coin features an inscription circling an image (see "Inscriptions" field). George IV is in profile from the neck up facing left with thick, curly hair and a prominent jawline. The year 1826 is centered at the bottom, and a beaded border encircles the circular edge. Small, indistinct markings are visible below the figure's neck.
