Centered is George III in profile from the neck up facing right, with curly hair and a laurel wreath tied with a ribbon. Raised Latin text reads "GEORGIUS III D: G: BRITANNIARUM REX F: D:" along the perimeter, while the date "1820" is centered at the bottom.
