A gold coin features a profile portrait of George III facing right, from the shoulders up. He has thick, curly hair adorned with a laurel wreath. Encircling the rim is a raised Latin inscription (see "Inscriptions" field). The yellow metallic surface shows fine horizontal scratches and a reflective patina.
