One side of a gold coin features an inscription circling an image (see "Inscriptions" field). Four crowned shields are arranged in a cross with a rose at the center where four scepters cross. The top shield contains three lions, the bottom three stylized fleur-de-lis lilies, the left a harp, and the right a single lion. Latin text along the border reads in part "MAG BR FRA ET HIB REG" and "1703."
