A gold coin features a central rose surrounded by four crowned shields in a cross formation. The shields contain symbols including three lions, a rampant lion, three fleur-de-lis, and a harp. Four scepters radiate between the shields toward the rim. A circular inscription and the date 1703 encircle the design: "MAG BR FRA ET HIB REG". The warm gold surface has fine raised details and a textured patina.
