A vertically oriented Persian manuscript page on aged tan paper features rows of flowing black calligraphy. Elegant cursive script stretches across the page, interrupted by a single line of blue script and two columns of shorter verses. A double-lined gold and red border frames the composition. In the lower center, a large, organic brown stain bleeds through the final lines of the text, partially obscuring the bottom of the page.
