A vertically oriented manuscript page features fifteen lines of black Persian calligraphy on aged tan paper. Within a thin gold and red border, the text is organized into three sections: six lines at the top, a middle register with two rows divided into columns, and six lines at the bottom. A prominent dark blue horizontal flourish marks the center. The fluid script varies in weight across the weathered, stained surface.
