A vertically oriented tan paper is inscribed with thirteen horizontal rows of black calligraphic script. Small red marks punctuate the text throughout, and a long, sweeping blue stroke extends across the bottom left. A decorative border of fine gold, red, and blue lines frames the writing. The aged paper features brown mottling and visible vertical fibers. The composition highlights the elegant, dense arrangement of characters within its multi-lined frame.
