A vertically oriented cream paper is inked with thirteen horizontal rows of flowing black calligraphy accented by small red marks. The fluid script varies in thickness across the central rectangle. Thin, nested borders of gold, orange, and blue frame the text. Faded brown staining marks the lower left corner of the aged, warm-toned paper. The composition is elegant, showcasing the rhythmic movement of the ink and gum tempera strokes.
