A horizontally long wool on canvas sampler features a cream fabric strip decorated with disconnected embroidered motifs. On the far left, a golden vine scrolls upward. Moving right, geometric and floral patterns in muted red, blue, green, and brown emerge, including multi-pointed stars, interlocking diamonds, and zigzagging lines. The sampler's horizontal layout is punctuated by these diverse forms and finishes with short fringe on both ends.
