A horizontal woodblock with a charcoal finish features six raised, undulating lines with a cord-like texture. These lines span from left to right across the dark gray, striated wood. On the left, a deep horizontal notch divides the lines into two groups of three that wave in unison toward the right. The block's left edge and top right corner appear fragmented and jagged, with the wood grain visible throughout.
