A lobed enamel plaque depicts the Crucifixion framed by a beaded border. At the center, Christ hangs from a blue and green cross. To the left, the Virgin Mary leans her face against her hand; to the right, St. John clasps a book. Four angels and icons of the sun and moon fill the corners. Latin inscriptions and stylized greenery surround the figures, rendered in vibrant blues, greens, and yellows with heavy black outlines.
