A vertically oriented lithograph features fourteen lines of fluid black cursive script extending across an off-white page. The rounded handwriting, characterized by wide loops, begins with a large, stylized "U." The French text starts, "Une musique violente éclate brutalement et domine les bruits de la foule..." and ends with "Les instruments sont au maximum." The number "87" sits in the lower right corner, and the right paper edge is irregular.
