Description

This sketchbook contains 59 pages of graphite drawings and 16 watercolors made at various locations on Cape Ann, Massachusetts.
A vertically oriented graphite drawing on off-white paper depicts a solitary standing figure rendered with dark, gestural lines. Facing forward, the figure wears a wide-brimmed hat and a long garment, holding an unidentified object against their torso.
