Description

This sketchbook contains 59 pages of graphite drawings and 16 watercolors made at various locations on Cape Ann, Massachusetts.
A horizontally oriented graphite drawing on cream-colored paper depicts a minimalist landscape across two sketchbook pages. Simple gabled houses sit among scribbled trees on the left, while quick strokes outline rectangular structures in the center. Irregular, looping lines fill the foreground, and wavy lines stretch across the top background.
