Description

This sketchbook contains 59 pages of graphite drawings and 16 watercolors made at various locations on Cape Ann, Massachusetts.
A vertically oriented cream paper sketchbook page features a single line of light gray graphite handwriting at the top. The cursive script reads, "Tu. has to see." Below the text, the expanse of the page is mostly blank, showing signs of aging through faint brown stains on the left and a vertical line of small binding holes on the right edge. The composition emphasizes the delicate pencil marks against the textured surface.
