Description

This sketchbook contains 59 pages of graphite drawings and 16 watercolors made at various locations on Cape Ann, Massachusetts.
A vertically oriented graphite drawing on an off-white sketchbook page depicts two gestural figures. On our left, a figure wearing a wide-brimmed hat and dress stands with their back turned. To our right, a second figure is loosely defined by quick, dark lines. A small brown mark rests on the left edge, and the number 149 is written at the bottom right.
