A vertically oriented etching in black ink depicts three cone-shaped thatched structures resting on wooden platforms. Fine, sketch-like lines and dense cross-hatching define the textures of the thatch and surrounding environment. One structure stands in the foreground right, while others recede into the center and left. Vertical line work creates a screen of thin trees in the background, while loose, scribbled strokes suggest tall grass in the lower third.
