A vertically oriented etching in black ink with delicate, fine lines depicts a rural landscape. On the left, a prominent tree with a dark trunk stands among short, wavy grass. Another slender tree grows to the right. Smaller trees dot the middle ground. A dark, dense band of parallel lines marks the distance under a pale, lined sky. Sparse strokes leave much of the white paper visible.
