A vertically oriented etching in black ink on paper depicts a field of tall, densely packed grasses. Numerous thin lines extend upward, crowned by dark, elongated seed heads tilting left and right. In the lower foreground, shorter foliage and circular plant forms emerge from a patch of closely spaced horizontal strokes. The composition is filled with repeating vertical lines and textured spikes against the light paper.
