A vertically oriented etching depicts five figures laboring in a field. In the foreground, three figures use long poles to stir piles of brush, while a person stands to our left and another bends on the right. Filling the top half of the composition, large plumes of swirling, circular lines rise from the ground. Scattered bundles of branches lie in the lower right, beneath the thick, calligraphic smoke.
